Riflesso

Riflesso by ondesign‘s managing director Francalma Nieddu wins product design award.

The design project Riflesso, a carpet mirror by Francalma Nieddu has won the First Special Mention of the international contest “Design and Mediterranean – Between present and future”. The organizers are the cultural association PAD and the online magazine PAD www.palermodesign.it in collaboration with Federlegno-Arredo, Flou and Planeta. Presented at DesignWeekend Istanbul 2009.

message on the bottle

ondesign wins three corporate design awards at Mediastars 2009 in Milan and achieves a prize at ED-Awards in Zurich.

With “message on the bottle” the ondesign team led by Francalma Nieddu and Olav Jünke won a Mediastar for both corporate design and corporate literature. Francalma Nieddu recieved the Special Star for art direction from the panel of judges. The project was last presented at the Triennale Museum in Milan and has been awarded six prizes in all.

At ED-Awards 2009 the designers achieved an award in the category “event design”.

GAP CASA

The ondesign team achieves first place in the competition for the magazine design of the Italian GAP CASA.

In an internationally announced competition with a renowned panel of judges the German-Italian design agency ondesign asserted itself with its suggestion for repositioning in terms of content and for the complete redesign of the magazine. At the Milan furniture fair 2009 the first issue after the relaunch of GAP CASA was presented together with the special issue GAP DESIGN.

Fattorie Romeo del Castello

Corporate design from Hamburg is admitted to Spaghetti Grafica

The Fattorie Romeo del Castello winery from Sicily with a centuries-old family tradition assigned ondesign to create a modern visual identity on the basis of ancient family coats of arms and old wine labels. The designers re-interpreted all the elements and developed a complete company typeface. The panel of Spaghetti Grafica judged the result to be one of the outstanding examples of Italian design to enter the book and exhibition.
